Who We Are
This website, https://www.raphael-thys.com, is operated by Wide On SRL, a Societe a Responsabilite Limitee registered in Belgium. Raphael Thys, Gerant, is responsible for the website and acts as data controller for personal data processed through it.
Registered address: [to confirm]. BCE/KBO number: [to confirm]. VAT number: [to confirm]. You can contact us at raphael@wide-on.com.
What Data We Collect
We keep data collection deliberately limited. The website may process the following categories of data, depending on how you use it.
- Website analytics: aggregated, anonymous usage data such as page views, referral sources, visit duration, device type, operating system, country, and browser.
- Forms: details you choose to submit, such as name, email address, company, job title, message text, and interest category. The final form provider is still to be confirmed.
- Scheduling: if Calendly is used, it may process your name, email address, selected time slot, and any notes you provide.
- Email communication: your email address, name, message content, and related business correspondence.
- Font loading: the current build loads Inter and Rubik from Google Fonts. This may transmit technical request data, such as your IP address and browser details, to Google. The recommended launch setup is to self-host these font files.
Why We Use It
Analytics are used on the basis of legitimate interest: understanding which content is useful, improving the website, and making better decisions about services. Form submissions and scheduling requests are processed because you actively provide the information and ask us to respond.
Email correspondence is processed to handle business inquiries, prepare or deliver services, and keep a record of professional exchanges where Belgian law requires it.
Analytics, Cookies, And Tracking
This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service operated by Plausible Insights OU in Estonia. Plausible does not use cookies, local storage, or cross-device tracking. Visitor data is aggregated and hosted in the EU on Hetzner infrastructure in Falkenstein, Germany.
This website does not use cookies for analytics or tracking. If Calendly or video embeds are added, they should be lazy-loaded or opened through an external link so third-party cookies are only involved after you choose to interact with that service.
The site may use local storage for basic user experience features, such as remembering a language preference or enabling a download flow. This is not used for advertising or analytics tracking.
The current build loads brand fonts from Google Fonts. This is not used for tracking by Wide On SRL, but self-hosting the font files before publication would avoid this third-party request entirely.
Who We Share Data With
We only share personal data with service providers needed to operate the website and respond to your requests.
- Plausible Analytics for aggregate, cookie-free analytics. Privacy information: Plausible data policy.
- Form provider for contact or lead submissions: [to confirm: Formspree, Netlify Forms, or another provider].
- Calendly for scheduling, if enabled. Privacy information: Calendly privacy notice.
- Google Fonts for font delivery in the current build, unless replaced by self-hosted font files before publication.
If a provider transfers data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How Long We Keep Data
- Analytics data is aggregate and does not identify you personally.
- Form submissions are kept for the duration of the business relationship plus one year, unless a longer legal retention period applies.
- Commercial correspondence may be kept for up to ten years where Belgian accounting or commercial rules require it.
- Calendly data is retained according to Calendly's own retention practices and account settings.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, transfer, or object to the processing of your personal data. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise your rights, email raphael@wide-on.com. We will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: Autorite de protection des donnees / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, Belgium, contact@apd-gba.be, autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.
